The front slit is absolutely spot on! It shows just the right amount of leg when you're walking, and keeps you perfectly covered when sitting down.

To be honest, the quality of the satin fabric really surprised me - it's got a lovely weight to it! It doesn't look cheap in the slightest. I wore it to my cousin's wedding, and so many people complimented the pockets. Seriously, having pockets in a formal dress is just absolutely brilliant; you can just pop your lippy and phone right in.
