To be honest, the lace detailing is quite lovely and the stitching seems robust enough for an active toddler. However, I did spot a couple of loose threads near the sash that I had to snip off myself. It's not a massive issue, but something to keep an eye on. Overall, it's a decent little dress for the price and looks brilliant in photos.

My daughter is usually incredibly fussy about what she wears, especially if fabrics are even slightly scratchy. I'm so relieved that the tulle is surprisingly soft against her skin. You really can't argue with the price for what you get. High street shops charge an absolute fortune for similar styles, so taking a punt on this was well worth it. It looks far more expensive than it actually is, and the little sash adds a really nice touch of elegance. A proper bargain.
