It's a really pretty dress and looks lovely on. However, my youngest did complain that the tulle layers were a bit scratchy on her bare legs when she was running about the venue. We had to pop a little cotton slip underneath to stop her whinging. The top half is soft enough though, and the buttons at the back are a bit fiddly but very secure.
