I took this down to my local dressmaker just to have a look, and she was genuinely impressed by the quality of the stitching and the lining. The chapel train adds such an elegant touch without being overly heavy or a faff to manage. You can tell a lot of care went into making it. The satin has a gorgeous subtle sheen that looks incredibly expensive in the flesh. Honestly, it's a proper bargain for such high-quality workmanship.

The dress is gorgeous and the A-line shape is incredibly flattering. Just a quick note, the satin does need a proper good steam once you take it out of the packaging. It took me ages to get it perfectly smooth, but it looked absolutely brilliant afterwards.

My mum actually cried when I tried it on. Everyone thought I spent an absolute fortune on it. Looks smashing.

I was worried a gown with a train might feel like dragging a heavy duvet around, but it's surprisingly lightweight! I had a little practice dance in the lounge and it swished beautifully. The sleeveless design gives you loads of freedom to move your arms about. It just makes you feel like a proper princess without the faff of a bulky skirt. So chuffed I took the plunge and ordered it.

Absolutely over the moon with this dress! The satin feels incredibly soft against the skin, not scratchy in the slightest. But the absolute best bit? It has pockets! I managed to keep my lip gloss and a tissue tucked away without anyone noticing. It was so comfy to wear for the whole event, and the sweetheart neckline is spot on.
