Wore this to a winter formal and the twill satin has a surprisingly good weight to it. It hugs the chest nicely without feeling too restrictive when sitting down. I did have to steam out some stubborn packaging creases for a while, but the colour looked absolutely amazing in dim lighting.

Perfect fit around the waist and the fabric hangs beautifully. The zip is a bit stiff but it's alright.

I was worried the material would look cheap, but the satin has a really subtle and elegant sheen. It was a bit long on me even with heels, so I had to get it taken up. Apart from that, it's super comfortable for dancing and isn't see-through at all.

What I love most about this dress is how easy it is to style. Because the design is so classic and elegant, you can pair it with pretty much any statement jewellery or clutch bag and it just works. I tried it on with my silver heels and a simple necklace, and the whole outfit looked completely put together in seconds. Really chuffed with this purchase, it's a brilliant wardrobe staple for posh events. 💃
