The colour is spot on to what I saw on my screen. It's a really rich, deep shade that complements my pale complexion perfectly.

The satin fabric feels absolutely lovely against the skin. It's got a really subtle sheen that catches the light beautifully without looking cheap or overly shiny. It drapes brilliantly over the hips, too.

The fabric is gorgeous, but the sleeves were a tad too long for me. I had to pop down to a local tailor to get them taken up a bit. Mind you, it looks absolutely smashing now.

Absolutely lovely, but the lace appliqués on the sleeves are a tad scratchy if you've got sensitive skin like me 😅 otherwise gorgeous!

I'm always a bit nervous about buying occasionwear online because you never know if it'll actually suit you or if the sizing will be miles off. I even double-checked the returns policy before clicking buy, just in case. Thankfully, I won't be needing to send it back. The dress is absolutely stunning and fits like a glove. It gave me such a massive confidence boost the second I zipped it up. It's so lovely to finally find a dress that makes you feel incredibly special without costing the earth.
