I bought this dress for a formal elopement we planned in the mountains, and it suited the vibe perfectly. The A-line shape is incredibly forgiving and comfortable; I didn't feel sucked in or restricted, which was brilliant for walking to our photo spot. The fabric has a lovely sheen to it that catches the light beautifully in photos. It arrived a little creased, which is standard for delivery, but a quick steam sorted that right out. The sweep train is just the right length—dramatic enough for the photos but not so long that I was tripping over it. If you want something timeless and elegant that won't cost the earth, this is a spot-on choice.

I was terrified the long sleeves would restrict my arms when dancing. Surprisingly the armholes have decent room! The satin does crease a bit if you sit for hours, which happened during dinner, but it didn't ruin the photos. Steaming it took ages though. Brilliant value for money.

The dress arrived a bit creased in the box, but after ironing it was perfect. The ivory white colour is gorgeous in natural light. The stitching is well done and doesn't scratch. Brilliant purchase for my civil wedding.
