I felt so elegant wearing this. The A-line shape is really forgiving and the fabric has a lovely stretch to it. I got compliments from people I didn't even know in the hotel foyer before the event started.

Such a flattering silhouette for curvy women. It nips in right where you want it to and flows beautifully everywhere else. The pockets were the talk of my table at the reception because all the other ladies were so jealous.

The satin is really soft and not that stiff, scratchy sort you sometimes find on formal wear. It moved with me on the dance floor and I never felt hot or sweaty, even when the venue got a bit packed.

It's quite difficult to find a mother of the bride dress that doesn't look frumpy. This one is youthful yet still perfectly appropriate. The shoulder detail draws the eye upwards, and the long skirt gives the illusion of extra height.
