This dress is honestly a hidden gem. The structure of the bodice is brilliant; it holds you in without feeling like a corset. The flow of the skirt is just lovely—it moves really well when you walk. One thing to note is that the fabric doesn't have much give, so make sure you check the size guide religiously. I was right between sizes and sized up, which was definitely the right decision. It needed a quick steam straight out of the parcel, but once the creases were out, it looked flawless. I’m really pleased with how it turned out.

So, I needed something last minute for a military ball and took a punt on this dress. Let me tell you, it really paid off. The A-line cut is so forgiving, especially after a massive dinner! I absolutely love that it has pockets—yes, pockets! I didn't even realise that when I ordered it. I could keep my lipstick and phone on me without lugging a clutch bag everywhere. The material is thick enough that you don't need shapewear, which is a massive win in my book. The only reason I'm not giving it full marks is that the zip was a bit stiff at first, but after running some wax over it, it was absolutely fine. Overall, a brilliant dress for the price.

I wore this to my cousin's black-tie engagement party and felt absolutely brilliant. The one-shoulder look is really on-trend at the moment, and this dress gets it spot on. It shows just the right amount of skin while still being modest enough for family dos. The satin feels lovely and soft against the skin and doesn't itch at all. I was a bit worried about the bust area as I'm smaller on top, but it fit surprisingly well without needing any major alterations. It does crease a bit if you've been sitting down for a long time, but a quick steam before you head out sorts it right out. I'm thinking about getting it in another colour for an upcoming festive do.

Ordering dresses online is always a bit of a gamble, but this one turned out to be a lovely surprise. I got it for a formal work dinner where I needed to look smart but still dressed up. The fabric has a nice sheen to it that looks expensive under the lights. The sweep train adds a bit of drama, but it's manageable enough that I wasn't constantly stepping on it. I did find the sizing comes up a tiny bit big, so I probably could have sized down, but it wasn't noticeable enough to send back. The flower detail is securely attached, so no worries about it falling off. It’s a classic style that I reckon will stay in fashion for a while.
