The dress is lovely, but the fabric is a bit heavier than I expected. Great for autumn, but probably too warm for an outdoor July wedding. Still, it looks really well-made and the stitching is neat. I’ll hold onto it for a cooler occasion.

The satin material feels incredibly luxurious for the price. I wore it to a posh charity do last weekend. I usually hate ordering evening wear online because the sizing is all over the place, but this one was spot on with the size guide.

I was having a browse online for something to wear to a summer garden party and came across this. It turned up really quickly. The floral pattern is actually a bit more subtle in the flesh, which I much prefer. It’s a great shout if you need something smart but not too stiff.
