I was able to walk up a little path for our photos without feeling restricted. It’s definitely a simple dress, so I jazzed it up with a sparkly belt and a cathedral veil, and it came together brilliantly.

My favourite part was probably the fit; I ordered my usual size and it hugged in all the right places without being too snug.

I did have to get the hem taken up as I'm on the shorter side, but other than that, the fit was spot on. It looked far more expensive than it actually was, which is a massive bonus for me.

Right, so I bought this as a reception dress because my main ceremony gown was massive and so heavy, and I ended up liking this one almost as much as the first! It was absolutely spot on for the evening do. The scoop neck is really flattering without being too revealing, and the long sleeves gave it a chic, smart look. I was dancing all night and didn't feel like I was boiling. The train is a bit long just for a reception, so I had my dressmaker add a bustle, which worked out brilliantly. For the money, the stitching and fabric quality are honestly impressive.

The open back on this dress is absolutely stunning! I wore this for our wedding abroad in Italy, and looking at the photos now, the back details just pop against the old architecture. The fabric travelled really well, too. I gave it a quick steam at the hotel, and the creases dropped right out. It’s got this sleek, modern vibe but still feels classic because of the train. It definitely hugs your curves, so good shapewear is a must, but it made me feel super confident walking down the aisle. If you want something simple but elegant without all the fuss of lace or beads, this is a brilliant choice.
