So, I bought this for a date night at a posh jazz club, and my husband absolutely loved it. The fabric has a really lovely sheen to it that catches the dim light perfectly. It hugs your figure in all the right places but isn't so tight that you can't breathe or eat. I loved the half-sleeves because it gets a bit nippy in those clubs and I couldn't be bothered carrying a shawl around all night. My only slight niggle is that the beads felt a bit loose on one side, so I had to reinforce them with a needle and thread before heading out, just to be on the safe side. Apart from that quick fix, it was an absolute winner.

You just zip it up and you're good to go. The material feels thick enough that you don't get any VPL, which is always my biggest worry with satin. The sleeves are a lovely length if you're a bit self-conscious about your arms like I am. It’s not the most breathable fabric, so I did get a bit warm when the venue got packed, but it wasn't unbearable. For the price and the style, I’m absolutely chuffed with this purchase.
