I was a bit in two minds about buying a gown online, but the stitching and overall finish are absolutely brilliant. It's cracking value for money. The sweep train adds just the right amount of drama without getting in the way. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone after an elegant outfit.

I was a bit worried that a mermaid style would make it impossible to move about properly, but there's actually a decent amount of stretch in the crepe material. I spent ages on the dance floor at the gala and didn't feel restricted in the slightest. The asymmetrical cut at the hem gives your legs just enough freedom to step and turn safely. It's absolutely brilliant to find something that looks so glamorous but actually lets you have a good time without tripping over yourself.

The dress is lovely but the fit around the bust is a tiny bit snug on me. I used the size guide provided, but I reckon I should have gone a size up just to have a bit more breathing space. Still, it zips up fine and gives a nice shape, so I'll definitely be keeping it.
