The V-neck is really flattering without being too revealing, and the long sleeves kept me warm enough that I didn't even need a jacket. It looks far more expensive than it actually is. I'm seriously considering buying it in another colour!

This dress was an absolute lifesaver for my friend's autumn wedding. The satin feels surprisingly premium and smooth against the skin, not scratchy at all. I loved how the asymmetrical hem gave it a lovely little twirl on the dance floor. Spot on with the sizing too, which is a rare find these days!

So, I bought this dress for my son's wedding rehearsal dinner last month. To be honest, it's a bit of a mixed bag. The satin fabric feels lovely against the skin, definitely softer than I expected for the price, and the V-neck cut is incredibly flattering without showing too much. However, the sizing is a bit odd. The sleeves felt a little tight around my shoulders, even though the waist was actually quite loose on me. Also, the ruffle detail didn't lie as flat as it does in the photos; I had to steam it for ages to get it looking right. It’s a decent dress if you have the time to get it altered, but don't expect it to be spot on straight out of the packaging.

I fancied something a bit different for a date night at this posh restaurant in the city centre, so I gave this a go. The acetate satin material is shiny, perhaps a bit shinier than I'd have liked, but it looks elegant enough in dim lighting. My main gripe was the zip. It felt really flimsy, and I was terrified it was going to burst open the whole time I was getting ready. The A-line shape is quite forgiving if you’ve had a heavy meal, which is a bonus. It’s a decent enough dress for the price, I suppose. It did the job for one evening, but I don't know if I’d wear it again unless I get the zip replaced. It’s just average quality really.

I picked up this dress for a company drinks do. I was drawn to the style because it looked smart but still a bit of fun.
