This dress is an absolute winner for curvy girls! I struggle so much to find evening wear that fits my hips without gaping at the waist, but the stretch in this fabric meant it moulded to my body brilliantly. I wore this to a military ball with my husband, and I felt so confident. The trumpet style flares out at just the right spot above the knee, so walking is a breeze—you don't have to do that awkward shuffle. One thing to note is that because it's satin, you really need to wear seamless knickers. Even with the thicker material, a regular VPL (visible panty line) will show through. I popped on some shapewear, and it smoothed everything out perfectly. The halter neck is also super comfortable and didn't dig into my neck like some others do. I'm thinking about buying it in another colour for a cruise we've got coming up.

I absolutely love the neckline on this! It makes your shoulders look brilliant. The material is thick enough that you don't need to worry about it being see-through, which was my biggest fear. I wore it with nude heels and simple earrings. Just be careful with jewellery because the satin can snag easily.
