Fit: True to Size
So, I bought this for a Taylor Swift gig because I needed something sparkly, and it was spot on for the Era's Tour vibe. I danced, jumped, and sang for three hours and the dress held up brilliantly. It’s definitely on the short side, so I popped some cycling shorts underneath just to be safe while jumping about. The fabric breathes better than I expected for a fully sequined dress. It’s obviously not the most premium luxury material, but for the price, you really can't beat the visual impact. It looks smashing in photos and videos. Just be careful with your jewellery snagging on the sequins!

I needed a dress for a "Casino Night" charity event and didn't fancy wearing a full-length gown. This cocktail dress was the perfect middle ground—smart enough but still a bit playful. The fit around the waist is incredibly flattering and gives a lovely hourglass shape. I did spot a few loose threads near the hem when I took it out of the parcel, but nothing a quick snip with the scissors couldn't sort out in seconds. It’s comfortable enough to sit through a long dinner and then hit the dance floor. If you want to stand out in a room full of standard black dresses, this is definitely the one to go for.

I wore this to a New Year's Eve do and it went down a storm. I didn't want to spend hundreds of pounds on a dress I might only wear once, so this was a brilliant, budget-friendly option that looked really expensive. The sequins are smaller and more densely packed than I expected, which gives it a gorgeous, liquid metal look rather than looking cheap. It’s an absolute showstopper. I paired it with some nude heels and simple earrings because the dress speaks for itself. It is a bit heavy because of all the embellishments, but that actually makes it drape really nicely on the body.

Honestly, I was a bit sceptical about the halterneck style because they usually give me a headache, but this one is lightweight enough that it didn't bother me at all. I wore it to a friend's engagement do at a lovely bar. It’s definitely a 'look at me' dress. The sequins catch the light brilliantly! The only reason I’m not giving it full marks is that the hook-and-eye fastening at the back of the neck was a bit fiddly to do by myself; I had to ask my husband for a hand. But once it was sorted, it stayed put all night.

Right, so I bought this for my 21st birthday dinner and let me tell you, I felt like an absolute star. The colour is vibrant and looks exactly like the photos. I was worried the halterneck would be loose since I have a smaller bust, but it actually adjusted really well. It’s brilliant to dance in because it catches the light every time you move. My only small critique is that the fabric doesn't have as much give as I thought it would, so if you are in between sizes, maybe go up a size just to be comfortable when sitting down. Overall, a gorgeous find for a big night out.
