Such a gorgeous piece for a formal event. I wore this to a black tie optional wedding last month. The satin feels lovely against the skin and the whole thing just drapes beautifully. I love how the waistline sits in exactly the right spot to hide a bit of a tummy. It photographed incredibly well too. My family kept telling me how nice the colour looked on me.

This outfit made me feel absolutely lovely at my daughter's wedding. The chiffon overlay is so elegant and moves beautifully. I was a bit worried the trousers might be too tight around the hips, but they're actually really loose and flowy. The top gives good coverage and the lace is gorgeous. I paired it with some strappy sandals and it was just the perfect look for a garden wedding.

This is probably the most comfortable formal wear I've ever owned. The chiffon is incredibly soft and airy. I wore it to an evening gala and it was absolutely spot on. The trousers underneath are wide-leg and very forgiving. I love that I didn't need to wear shapewear to make it look good. The short sleeves covered the parts of my arms I'm a bit self-conscious about. Highly recommend if you want to stay comfortable all night long.

I don't usually leave reviews but I had to for this one. I wore it as the mum of the groom and felt so confident. The v-neck is flattering without being too revealing for a woman my age. Having trousers underneath the skirt layer made dancing at the reception a breeze. I did have to get it taken up a couple of inches as I'm only 5ft 3, but it was well worth the alteration.

This is a gorgeous alternative to a traditional mother of the bride dress. The fit is very flattering, especially around the bust and waist. The trousers are wide enough that they really do look like a skirt until you start walking. I felt very secure and comfortable all day. The lace appliqués are sewn on really well and don't look cheap at all. I am absolutely thrilled with this purchase.
