I didn't order a standard size but sent in custom measurements, so I can't really comment on the fit of the off-the-peg sizes. I knew I wouldn't be able to return it because of that if I didn't like the style. I wasn't a fan of the sheer sleeves at all, so I removed them. I'm no seamstress, but I found it really easy, and the dress was so well made that it didn't ruin the shape at all. I also had to put in a few more tucks because I have a bit of an odd frame and the shoulders were too big on me. The dress was beautifully made, the material didn't look or feel cheap, and I received loads of compliments. Again, I don't fault the designer or dressmaker for the fit. I knew from the start I was going to be tricky to fit. It was my first time buying a dress online and not being able to try it on was a massive leap of faith, but I was absolutely thrilled with it.

The colour is exactly like the picture, which was a massive relief. I wore this to a charity dinner, and it felt spot on and smart. The zip was a bit stiff at the waist, so do be gentle with it. Once it was on, though, I felt really confident all evening.

I wore this to a military ball and got so many lovely compliments. The lace detailing is absolutely gorgeous up close, and it's not scratchy at all like some other dresses I've tried. I'd recommend going up a size if you've got wider hips, but otherwise, it's a brilliant choice for a posh evening do.

This dress was the absolute highlight of my prom! The off-the-shoulder look is so on-trend right now, and the sweep train made me feel like royalty walking down the stairs. The material feels thicker than I expected, which is brilliant because it doesn't look cheap at all.

I’m absolutely obsessed with how this dress photographs. I used it for a styled shoot in the city centre, and the urban backdrop with the elegant lace was a brilliant contrast. It’s quite figure-hugging, so definitely wear some shapewear if you want a seamless look. A truly stunning piece.
