The colour is exactly like the picture, which was a massive relief. I wore this to a charity dinner, and it felt spot on and smart. The zip was a bit stiff at the waist, so do be gentle with it. Once it was on, though, I felt really confident all evening.

I wore this to a military ball and got so many lovely compliments. The lace detailing is absolutely gorgeous up close, and it's not scratchy at all like some other dresses I've tried. I'd recommend going up a size if you've got wider hips, but otherwise, it's a brilliant choice for a posh evening do.

Bought this for a formal night on a cruise and it packed surprisingly well without creasing too much. The sweep train is manageable and doesn't get in the way when walking. I just wish the lining was a tiny bit softer, but it wasn't uncomfortable to wear for a few hours.
