It’s a very simple, classic style, but that’s exactly what I was after so I could dress it up with some chunky jewellery. The zip was a bit stiff at first, but after running it up and down a few times, it was absolutely fine. It’s comfortable enough to sit in for a long three-course meal without feeling like I’m suffocating. Overall, a really brilliant buy that didn't cost the earth.

The off-the-shoulder look stays in place better than I expected, though I might use a bit of fashion tape just to be safe while dancing. I ordered this for my sister's bridal party, and we were all a bit worried about the sizing as we've got completely different figures. Surprisingly, the A-line cut is incredibly forgiving and looked lovely on all of us. The material is soft and flows beautifully, spot on for an outdoor spring wedding. I did find the delivery took a bit longer than expected, so definitely order well in advance, but the dress itself is gorgeous. It’s rare to find a bridesmaid dress I’d actually wear again to another do.

The fit was quite decent straight out of the packet, though the length was a bit long for me as I’m only 5ft 3, so I had to get it taken up. It’s got a really lovely flow when you walk, making you feel elegant without trying too hard. The bodice is supportive enough that I didn't need a ridiculously expensive bra, which is a massive bonus. Brilliant choice if you're watching the pennies but still want to look smart.
