It's a brilliant accessory for formal evenings. I wore it on a cruise for the captain's dinner and felt really smart. The bow keeps its shape perfectly and doesn't droop, which was exactly what I was worried about.

Ideally, I was after something a bit heavier, but this shawl is alright for the spring weather. I wore it to an outdoor garden party. It looks really smart in photos, which is a massive bonus. The length is spot on too—it doesn't drag or get in the way. Just be careful with jewellery because the satin fabric snags quite easily if you aren't paying attention. I caught it on my bracelet, but luckily it wasn't too noticeable.

This was a bit of a last-minute panic buy for my daughter's prom. We were rushing around trying to find something to go with her dress and this turned up just in the nick of time. She absolutely loved it! It's a lovely fit and covers just enough without hiding the whole dress. The satin is beautifully smooth. Well worth the money.
