Excellent quality fabric and stitching. It came up a bit big, but I paid a tailor to take it in. Really pleased with the dress.

I was in two minds about getting a long-sleeved dress, but it makes the whole outfit look so elegant and chic.

I was worried the satin would be too shiny and look a bit tacky, but it actually has a really lovely matte lustre to it.

Right, so I've just had my first dress fitting and I'm absolutely obsessed! I practised walking and doing a little twirl in it to see how it moves. The satin flows so beautifully! I was a bit worried the long sleeves would make it hard to lift my arms for dancing, but there's actually a fair bit of stretch and room in the shoulder area. The sweep train is really manageable too, I don't even think I'll need a fiddly bustle. Just feeling so relieved and buzzing right now! ✨💃
