I'm a teacher and wore this to our school leavers' prom as a chaperone. I needed something modest and comfortable for a long night of supervising the students. This dress was an absolute winner. I was able to move around the tables and help out without worrying about a wardrobe malfunction. The chiffon gives it a lovely airy feel. It’s not haute couture, obviously, but for an off-the-peg dress, it does the job perfectly. I popped it on a delicates wash afterwards and hung it up to dry, and it looks brand new. Highly recommend for working events.

If you're after a low-maintenance evening dress, this is the one. I wore it to a company awards dinner. I didn’t have time to hit the high street, so I took a punt on this. The fabric has a lovely weight to it, so it drapes beautifully. I’m quite tall, about 5'9", and the length was spot on for me with a pair of low heels. It’s not the most structured dress out there, so if you want control underwear, you’ll need to pop it on underneath, but the overlay hides a multitude of sins anyway. A brilliant and gorgeous buy.

It’s so easy to pop on; literally just pull it over your head and you're sorted. I did feel the size guide was slightly out, as the bust was a bit more snug than stated, but it still fit alright because the material has a bit of stretch to it.

I paired it with some silver heels and statement earrings. It’s super easy to pop on and off since there are no buttons or fastenings. A brilliant staple to have in the wardrobe for posh dos.

I really love the scoop neck; it shows just enough skin to be flattering but keeps it tasteful. It’s a pull-on style, so no faffing about with zips, which is honestly my favourite part.
