I was a bit worried about the satin showing every lump and bump, but the material actually has a lovely thickness to it. The fit was surprisingly forgiving. The diamantés give just enough sparkle without looking tacky, which is a massive relief. I didn't feel restricted at all thanks to the split at the back. It's definitely going to be my go-to for future dos.
