I ordered this dress for my son's wedding. I felt fabulous in it, and got compliments all day, and requests for where I bought it - not just from guests and family, but random people like the celebrant, the choir mistress, the hotel manageress, the photographer, and the receptionist at our first hotel. The lilac colour was absolutely true to the website photos. I didn't order the matching hat (couldn't find it on the site) but got another one made. Not an exact colour match, but near enough. The dress arrived when expected, perfectly packed, and pristine. Absolutely fabulous quality. It is extremely comfortable to wear. The peplum is really flattering, as it emphasises your waist, and it's really forgiving to wear - disguising any tummy, especially after eating! It doesn't wrinkle up and look crushed after hours of wearing. I ordered the custom made size, and asked for the cleavage to be more closed as it looked too deep and revealing in photos, and I didn't want my bra to be visible. I had to make some adjustments, as it was too big around the waist and hips (better than being too tight!). Also, the seamstress shortened the 'tail' at the back as it was too long on me, and made me seem shorter. She was oohing and aahing about how beautifully made, and well finished, it was. A nice surprise was that there was a matching stole with it. I hadn't known this. That was a little too wide - it felt a bit like a blanket! - so she reduced it by a third of its width. It sat and folded over my arms better that way. Missac refunded me €30 towards the cost of alterations. Absolutely no quibble, and really fast. Just needed to send the receipt for the seamstress. I will absolutely be ordering from Missac again.
