Such a flattering dress for a formal evening reception. I carry a bit of weight around my middle and was nervous about the satin clinging, but the way it falls is actually very forgiving. The ankle length is brilliant because you can actually show off your shoes. I felt really confident walking around and chatting with guests. It did get a bit warm by the end of the night on the dance floor, but nothing unbearable.
