Colour: Royal Blue
The lace detail on the sleeves adds just the right amount of coverage without making me feel like I’m wearing a potato sack. I did have to get the hem taken up a bit as I’m quite petite, but that’s pretty standard for me. Overall, it’s a brilliant choice if you’re after something elegant but comfy enough to dance the night away in.

I wanted something that felt special but didn't scream 'try-hard', and this was absolutely spot on. The scoop neck showed off my necklace perfectly, and the ruffles gave it a lovely bit of movement when I walked. I wore it for about six hours straight, sitting, standing, and mingling, and it didn't crease like mad, which is an absolute miracle for chiffon. The colour is deep and rich, holding up brilliantly even under the bright venue lights.

The ruffle detail is a lovely touch that hides the tummy area a bit, which I definitely appreciate after a heavy meal! The zip was a tiny bit stiff at first, but after running it up and down a few times, it worked perfectly. It’s definitely a dress I can see myself wearing to loads of different events, not just a one-off.

So, I got this for my mum for my sister’s wedding reception. She’s usually so fussy about the fit because she doesn't like anything too tight around the hips, but this shift style just skimmed over her curves perfectly. It didn't cling in the wrong places. The lace sleeves are super soft, not scratchy at all, which was a massive worry for her. We paired it with some silver heels and simple earrings, and she looked absolutely stunning. Delivery took a little longer than I'd hoped, but the dress itself was totally worth the wait.

The material has a lovely weight to it—it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy at all. I've had so many compliments on the lace detailing; it looks far more expensive than it actually is. My only tip would be to check the size guide carefully. I almost ordered my usual size, but after measuring, I went a size up, and it fits like a glove. Definitely recommend measuring yourself first!
