I was worried the satin would be a static nightmare but the lining is surprisingly soft against the skin. Wore it for 6 hours straight at a reception. The fabric has a nice heavy drape, but the side zip is a bit stiff around the beaded area so you have to pull it up slowly. Not perfectly breathable for a hot outdoor party, but looks stunning in photos.
