We had a really small registry office wedding and I wanted something a bit different from the traditional massive ballgown. The asymmetrical hem on this was exactly what I was looking for. It felt so modern and chic. My mum actually cried when she saw me in it, and the photographer kept complimenting how the fabric caught the light. It was also so easy to walk around the city centre for our photos. Just a brilliant choice all around.

The sweetheart neckline is incredibly flattering on me. I absolutely love how the asymmetric hem gives it a really fun and quirky feel.

The material is actually lovely. I wasn't quite sure what to expect from taffeta as it can sometimes feel a bit stiff, but this is surprisingly soft and lightweight. It flows beautifully when walking and doesn't feel heavy or restrictive in the slightest. Brilliant for wearing over a long period, really comfortable.

I was a bit worried about how it would travel, but it steamed out beautifully. The fabric holds its shape brilliantly and didn't get too creased even after sitting down for a meal.

The box got a bit battered in the post and the dress needed a good steam to get the creases out, but it's absolutely fine now.
