Visually, it's a ten out of ten. The way the sequins are laid out creates this brilliant shimmering effect when you walk. I felt absolutely glamorous. But comfort-wise? Maybe a six out of ten. It isn't the most breathable material, so I was getting a bit warm during the dinner portion of the evening. Also, the zip was a bit stiff; I was terrified my husband was going to break it trying to zip me up. Once it was on, though, it looked fantastic in photos. If you're willing to sacrifice a bit of comfort for a smashing look, go for it.

First off, the colour is absolutely stunning—exactly like the photo, really deep and rich. The mermaid silhouette really hugs your curves, which I loved. However, the sizing is a bit tricky. I followed the size guide to a T, but the waist was still a bit loose whilst the hips were quite snug. I had to get it altered at the last minute to get that perfect fit. Also, the sequins can be a bit scratchy under the arms after wearing it for a few hours. It’s a gorgeous dress, but be prepared to have some adjustments made to get it spot on.

Absolutely brilliant!

I didn't expect this dress to look as good in the flesh as it did online, but I was pleasantly surprised. I bought the royal blue sequin version for a winter wedding, and it went down an absolute storm. The sparkle is amazing! It catches the light beautifully without looking cheap or tacky. The long sleeves were spot on for the chilly weather, though I will say they were a tiny bit snug around my upper arms, so if you go to the gym, maybe go up a size. The train is gorgeous but manageable; I didn't trip over it once. Delivery took about a fortnight, which wasn't too bad. Overall, I felt really confident wearing it and got so many compliments all evening. Definitely worth the money for a special occasion.

I grabbed the black one for my school leavers' prom, and it was everything I wanted. I was a bit worried about ordering an evening dress online, but the quality is actually surprisingly heavy and well-made. It’s fully lined, so it’s not see-through at all, which was my biggest fear. Highly recommend if you want to stand out!
