I ordered this for a black-tie event and was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The lace detail is absolutely lovely in the flesh, and the off-the-shoulder style is very elegant. It needed taking up a bit at the hem, but otherwise, it was spot on.

I wore this for a posh anniversary dinner cruise and felt a million dollars. The fishtail design really gives you an hourglass figure even if you haven't naturally got one. I was worried the off-the-shoulder bit would keep slipping down or be a faff to adjust, but it actually stayed put really well while we were dancing. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is that the fabric isn't very breathable.

I honestly wasn't expecting this dress to go down quite so well at my daughter's wedding last month. I was in a bit of a panic about ordering online because sizing can be an absolute nightmare, but I followed the size guide to the letter and it fit rather well straight out of the packet. The satin feels surprisingly heavy and lovely, not cheap or flimsy like some other bits I've bought in the past. The lace sleeves are gorgeous and actually cover the parts of my arms I'm a bit self-conscious about without making me look frumpy. I just had to get it taken up a little bit as I'm on the short side, but otherwise, it was absolutely spot on for the big day.

I love the off-the-shoulder look, it makes me feel really elegant. I will say though, the zip was a bit stiff at first, so just be gentle with it.
