The mermaid silhouette is incredibly flattering around the tummy. I went for the royal blue and the colour is wonderfully rich in person. It sweeps the floor perfectly with my heels on. An absolutely cracking dress for formal dos.

I have to say, this dress absolutely exceeded my expectations! The fishtail silhouette hugs the curves beautifully without feeling too restrictive. I ordered the emerald green and the colour is so rich and vibrant in the flesh, much better than the photos. I'm quite petite, so I did have to get it taken up as it's truly floor-length, but my seamstress had no trouble working with the fabric. The bodice has brilliant structure, so I didn't even need to wear a bra. If you're in two minds about buying this, just go for it. It looks like a bespoke designer piece!

Here's an honest review: The material has a mid-weight satin feel and isn't see-through at all. The neckline features a silicone grip lining so it doesn't slip down, which is a massive bonus. It definitely needs a good steam straight out of the packaging, but once pressed, it hangs beautifully. A brilliant choice for any formal do.

Beautiful stitching and the zip feels really sturdy. Brilliant quality overall.
