I was really nervous about buying a formal dress online for my daughter's wedding. The satin actually has a lovely weight to it and drapes beautifully. It did arrive with some deep creases from the packaging, so I had to get it professionally steamed. Once that was sorted, it looked absolutely stunning and I had so many compliments on the lace sleeves.

The inner lining is incredibly soft and doesn't stick to your skin, even if you get a bit sweaty. I had it dry-cleaned after my daughter's wedding and it came out perfectly, not a single seam was damaged. A truly brilliant purchase.

I was a bit worried the satin would look cheap, but it doesn't at all. It's got a lovely, subtle and elegant sheen to it. I was surprised by how well it fits, it gives you a really flattering silhouette. The 3/4 sleeves are spot on for keeping the evening chill away.
