I was a bit worried about buying a satin mermaid dress online because I'm pear-shaped and usually struggle with hip measurements. Took a gamble since the price was so much better than hiring one. It fit surprisingly well! I just had to get the hem taken up a bit because I'm 5'2. Looked incredibly elegant in our church photos and the fabric has a lovely weight to it.

Absolutely stunning drape on this satin. It hugged my curves perfectly and felt incredibly soft against my skin all day long.

I mean, the dress is absolutely lovely and gives an incredible hourglass figure. I'm giving it 4 stars because the train is quite heavy when going up the stairs and a bit tricky to manage on your own. Plus, in the really bright midday sun, you could see the outline of my legs a tiny bit, but nothing major.

Miles better than I expected. The sleeves are really flattering on my arms and the neckline isn't too low.
