The lace is actually super soft and doesn't scratch at all! I had to take the hem up a bit because I'm 5'2" and it dragged too much. The zip is a little stiff at the waist seam, so get someone to give you a hand. Totally worth the price!

The V-neck is super flattering, but I definitely need fashion tape to keep it in place. Lovely weight to the fabric, though.

I was worried the mermaid shape would make it impossible to sit during the reception. It hugs the hips nicely but still has enough stretch so I didn't feel trapped. It arrived in a surprisingly small box and had some creases, so definitely steam it before the big day. The white colour is very bright, almost blinding in the sun, but photographs beautifully.

Fits really well around the hips! The colour is a tiny bit more ivory than the bright white it looked on my mobile, but I actually prefer it this way. Lovely lace!
