Finding a dress for a local charity gala was a bit of a nightmare until I found this one. The Bardot neckline gives it a bit of an edge while still being spot on for the occasion. I paired it with some silver heels and a clutch bag. It's surprisingly comfortable to sit and stand in, though the sleeves do restrict reaching up high just a tad. Really glad I bought it.
